An Inspirational Giveaway!!!

I want to give a little something back in the form of a giveaway in order to say thank you to you for reading and in hopes to inspire you. The winner of this small gift can use it in several ways, it's up to you!

You may want to use it as a motivation to change a living space in even the smallest ways, a beautiful lamp or new Pendant Lighting to light up a dreary space, some decorative wall stickers, a new fleece throw or an interesting clock?

Maybe instead you'd like to give a small gift to a special person in your life as a token of your gratitude... NHL memorabilia for that team fanatic or a lovely jewellery box?

Or my favourite, inspire yourself to be creative, use your imagination with this small gift to produce something beautiful; using colourful bead sets, painting supplies, picture frame kits or modelling clay.

This gift I’m talking about is $15 for use at any CSN stores online. You can use this $15 to purchase any of the above things I listed, among many more items (the site offers SEVERAL different sections of products and several awesome things which can be found for $15 and under, including many items I’ve listed above) or you can use the credit towards a larger purchase, your choice!

There is only 1 requirement to be eligible to win this small gift giveaway from The Inspiration Tree:
1.       You must live in US or Canada, as the site only ships to these countries.

To enter this giveaway all you have to do is comment on this post with an inspirational quote that means something to you (make sure to include your name & email).

The deadline is 2 weeks from today (March 19th, 2011). On this day your names will be entered into a draw; a winner will be randomly picked and you will be notified via email.

I’m looking forward to reading all your quotes. : )

Thanks for reading The Inspiration Tree guys!

& ,
Samm

  2. What a wonderful giveaway!! Thank you so much, this is really nice of you. :)

Oh gosh...this was soooo hard. I am a big fan of quotes and lovely, little sayings. I guess my favorite is:

"Because a song can take you back instantly to a moment, a place, or even a person. No matter what else has changed in you or the world, that one song stays the same, just like that moment. Which is pretty amazing, when you actually think about it." - Sarah Dessen

"Life isn't about a destination, it's about a transformation." -to save a life.

this quote always reminds me that even if i'm not where i want to be in life, it's about changing, about a process, and it doesn't matter if i end up in a job with 6 figures, but it DOES matter how i end up as a person. :)
this is such a great thing to do thanks so much!! =)

  8. How kind!

Any quote by Brian Andreas usually warms my heart, so if I can spread his beautiful writing around I'd love to! but here is a favorite:

"There are things you do because the feel right, and they make no sense, and they make no money, and they may be the real reason we are here: to love each other and to eat each other's cooking and say it was good."

  9. "There's a reason we refer to "leaps of faith" - because the decision to consent to any notion of divinity is a mighty jump from the rational over to the unknowable, and I don't care how diligently scholars of every religion will try to sit you down with their stacks of books and prove to you through scripture that their faith is indeed rational; it isn't. If faith were rational, it wouldn't be - by definition - faith. Faith is belief in what you cannot see or prove or touch. Faith is walking face-first and full-speed into the dark. If we truly knew all the answers in advance as to the meaning of life and the nature of God and the destiny of our souls, our belief would not be a leap of faith and it would not be a courageous act of humanity; it would just be... a prudent insurance policy."- Eat Pray Love

This book has honestly become my guide to life. :) I recommend it if you haven't read it already!

  17. "Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."
    — C.S. Lewis

  19. "Our life is frittered away by detail. Simplify, simplify."
    -Henry David Thoreau

One of my favourite quotes I've ever heard. We, or certainly I, spend too much time thinking about things that are really not important. The things that are important, love and happiness, are the simple basis of everything else.
By simplifying we can create personal space to enjoy positive things and not get weighed down by the negative.

  27. "... imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, 'This is an interesting world I find myself in - an interesting hole I find myself in - fits me rather neatly, doesn't it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!' This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, it's still frantically hanging on to the notion that everything's going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise." 30. i do not care what car you drive, where you live. if you know someone who knows someone who knows someone. if your clothes are this years' cutting edge, if you are A-list, B-list, or never heard of you list. i only care about the words that flutter from your mind. they are the only thing you truly own. the only thing i will remember you by. i will not fall in love with your bones and skin, i will not fall in love with the places you have been, i will not fall in love with anything but the words that flutter from your extraordinary mind.

This is inspiring to me becuase for as long as I can remember people have told me that I always have a smile on my face no matter what situation I am in. The fact that I can always look at the positive side has made me the person I am today, and no one will ever take that away from me and this quotes just reminds me of it just in case I start to forget...which happens from time to time.
